STEP 1

Initial Consultation

Make an appointment and let us meet together!

At that meeting, we will gather insights, discuss different approaches and solutions, and endeavor to arrive at a basic concept for your home improvement, remodel, or outdoor project.

STEP 2

Preliminary Cost Estimate

Based on the initial concept we typically start by preparing a free analysis of the cost range for construction and provide that to you for discussion and endeavor to arrive at an agreed design, permit (if needed), and construction budget that will govern the next phase.

STEP 3

Design Phase

In this phase, we will return to your site and gather the information needed to prepare a site plan. These are very detailed sets of measurements that involve laying out your plot and property lines, house footprint, and so forth. BRHS charges a reasonable fee to provide design documents (or plans) in this phase. The cost of this phase is determined by the size and scope but will be determined in the preliminary estimate. Once the design is completed, it will be submitted to you for review, discussion, and approval.

STEP 4

Contract & Project Initiation

Once the plan is complete, we will provide a final Scope of Work document and Proposal/Contract. We obtain necessary permits and provide submittals with the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for your location as needed (County or City). We schedule with you an approximate start and completion date and outline a progressive payment schedule.
